An October To Remember..

OMG. Here we are welcoming October already. I find it hilarious the amount of Halloween stuff out and the beginning of Christmas items starting when so many shelves are so empty otherwise. What a world we are living in today! What perfect time of year to draw up some depth and purge what is no longer necessary. This month inspires going with the flow within the depth of those questions that arise and your own perceived resistance. October brings a month of four planets turning direct, a chance to restructure those themes that were just in reflection, and Venus’ influence of the importance of our one-on-one relationships are emphasized and reiterated throughout the month with the different astro-cauldron goulash dishes.
 
We have Mercury’s retrograde and Venus on her journey furthest from the Sun as our influence and inspiration to begin October.  A great time to reflect for your New Moon Wishes. At 7:06 EST on October 6th, the New Moon in Libra will be at 13°, the same day Pluto turns direct at 24°. There is power behind Pluto’s energy, his earthly tilling has disheveled and broken down so many structures in the last 10 years. Releasing ideas and obsessions that no longer serve us, for our ourselves, our families, our loved ones, really digging deep to understand what makes your relationship beautiful, worthy. Venus at 29° will be sending everything that makes her thrive in her culmination of Scorpio. Deep, passionate, touch me so deep love. Venus must know these feelings and release in order to open up to the more robust Sagittarian energy on the 7th. With some major clearing and Jupiter’s more jovial energy, we can take those feelings and expand our intentions that we made the day before and focus on how we will set ourselves into action. Mars conjuncts the Sun at 15°on the 8th and 9th, including Mercury in the stellium. This starts a new Mercurial cycle, more magic and intention to plan how you will proceed with your Libran themes.

If you wondered how all this beautiful energy can fabricate itself, Saturn turns direct on the 10th at 6°. Ambition, discipline, and practical planning, knowing that Saturn has a habit of testing those of us who are impatient. “Slow and steady and when I think you are ready,” is Saturn’s dance.

We have a week in between to soak all of this up. Jupiter stationing direct at 22° and Mercury a little later that day at 10° on October 18th. The tendency to connect more with others, your loved ones, and work on the ideas that have been planted throughout the month feel more possible, the energy building even more before our Full Moon on the 20th at 10:57 am EST. AT 27° in Aries, the balance of our needs versus the relationships we put our energy will push and pull, coming to culmination. The Sun moves into Scorpio on October 23rd, bringing in more focus of your Scorpionic issues. Is it touch? Is it sex? Where do you dig down deep, even in the moments of self-sabotage, enjoying the feeling of pain? Of digging down deep to feel that connection from the depths of your rooted body to the depths of connecting with your higher power? That is our secret to shine brave and bright this month.

The day before Halloween, Mars moves his happy ass into Scorpio. Right at home, he is free to demolish anything in his way to reach the deep. He is fierce, he wants touch, he wants nothing but to make sure you feel every inch of action that he sees fit to inspire upon you this month. He sets the month of December up for some expressive action and the need to touch and connect while we restructure our relationships, feel our connection to our intuition and go for it. Mars will see right through the bullshit and make it easier for us to follow that intuition that has been pulling at you for way too long.

I get all shits and giggles when I read these charts and imagine the possibility for growth. I am obsessed, addicted to the moments of epiphanies and the power we have to co-create, to react. It for sure is not always easy, but then again, it is a constant shift in perception to bring into our lives our book and find some way to meld into this world.
