Astro Weather of December 2021

Are you up for the challenge this month? The last month of this fiscal year 2021 equaling the number of five, doted in the energy of change, before we move into the year of focusing on domestic issues and service to others. There are quite a few things that need to be ironed out, too many to talk about on the collective sense here on my website of Dibble Dabble right now,  but on an individual level, where the planets, points and aspects lay in your chart, these can be more specified and more directed, only fueling your inner healing to ripple through the rest of world. You are the rock being skipped along the water of whichever pond you reside.

Starting off on December 1st, Neptune stations direct at 20° of Pisces, it’s home sign.  Jupiter, Neptune’s traditional co-conspirator, ruling Neptune’s mission this go around. An ease of optimism, compassion, and soul-searching truth as our subconscious revolutionizes our emotional actions. This is the key to Neptune’s journey, fixed on change.

Mars begins his journey of squaring Jupiter on December 3rd. Action versus faith, assertiveness versus optimism, release verses humanitarian change. Just a few things to think about before the Solar Eclipse at 12° Sagittarius. Our second eclipse of this season packing a punch for the last of the Gemini-Sagittarian lessons that we have been learning these last 18 months. December’s Solar Eclipse/New Moon encompasses the idea of relationships, gathering in our community to remember and release, but yet hold steadfast in our boundaries and traditions of the home. Initiation of beautiful, powerful change to rise above. Venus sextiling Neptune, her higher octave while she conjuncts Pluto and sextiles Mars, completing a Grand Mini Trine to Neptune. Oh yeah, baby! Be optimistic in the healing of warriors and profound change to rock us to the core the next six months. Time to hold beauty and relationships on the forefront.

To push up through this change, the Moon forms a mutable T-square to the nodes, with the North Node in a wide conjunction to Jupiter, and Mars conjunct the South Node on December 9th. Both Jupiter and Mars in fixed signs, reiterating the persistence to change. Chaos abound is the name of the game in our lessons as the Sun squares Neptune on the 10th. Increasing that spiritual chaos, a wide orbed T-square with Jupiter as the apex, pushes optimism at the most collective and individualistic level. Complete autonomy in our willingness to fight and relieve such bullshit behind.
On the 12th, Ceres, the asteroid Goddess of seasonal change and the ability to nurture that change, joins the North Node in the fixed/mutable T-square. Jupiter, still at the apex, squaring Mars in Scorpio conjunct the South Node. This is some intense energy, Ceres pushing for the change of seasons, the change of the way we communicate with each other and our community, a hard balance when Mars just wants to kick ass and set the whole damn world of evil on fire and purge the deepest of the deep, the oldest of the old. Ceres trines Uranus, adding a flare of revolutionizing creativity, along with the opportunity to two-fold that with Jupiter sextile Uranus, and sextile Mercury. Creative communication and loopholes abound.  Jupiter will push us through this month with his square to the nodes, both lessons needed, and lessons relieved playing together simultaneously.

On the 13th, Mars ingresses into Sagittarius, adding to his fiery flare. Go with gusto-the energy quick with the Centaurian wisdom, our impulsive emotions are ready to fight for what is necessary. In all of his optimism, we shall see Mars’ actions be bold in discernment this season, but with his passionate fire to hold the optimistic quest for truth this holiday season. Later on this day, Mercury joins Pholus, Venus and Pluto in the karmic sign of Capricorn. Time to bring those memories of the Solar Eclipse to the surface with compassion, while securing our home for our creative pursuits.
 
On the 18th, December’s Full Moon at 27° of Gemini pushes us towards compassionate relationships and the ability to recognize the patterns of abuse. This Full Moon will be challenging as Mars continues to conjunct the South Node and the characteristics of the critically detailed ascendant dives into the depths of our soul to pull out change. Mars continues his agenda in the fixed T-square, opposing Ceres, the chatty changing nurturer, conjunct the North Node, holding steady at the purity of Gemini energy, both squaring the planet of abundance in the age of newness. Uranus pushes the shock factor easing Mercury’s heavy, earthy, ruthless energy to set our terms for our children.   Oh, how our everyday persistent discipline pushes our mood, heavy and emotional.  

Adding to the heaviness of the Full Moon is Venus stationing retrograde in Capricorn at 26°, exactly conjunct Pluto. All the events beginning on November 18th and any of your Capricorn themes now come into review. There are no boundaries to what issues arise, her sextile to Neptune staying steady and her abundant focus of releasing and healing pain to move into the unfinished and/or new demands of our attention. She holds on tightly, her uncanny ability of merging soul on soul over the last week, obsessive compulsive desire to transform and stick to the truth, the vortex of optimism.

Not even six hours later, all the healing we have dove inside ourselves to review will rise quickly to the surface as Chiron stations direct. His trine to Mars conjunct the South Node will bring major changes to the collective as well, as we project the image we hold and then beautifully manifest. Chiron pushes us to hold our confidence, our self-worth, in the deepest cellular sense and voice those memories. Determined, steadfast and perhaps the need to be ruthless in order to hold the line.

Two days later, the seasons officially change with the Winter Solstice, honoring our compassion and the fervent sensuality of gathering with our tribe to protect, to secure our homes, the children inside of our homes. As we bring the details crucial to each and every relationship we encounter, this is the season to dedicate to the love language we have as social beings, although, I suspect, as a whole, we will rock our own worlds as Jupiter hangs at the culmination of Aquarius, 29° the most crisis oriented of all zodiac signs. Elevating Jupiter’s ability to be abundantly aloof or abundantly innovative towards the subconscious of humanity.

On Christmas Eve, all the rage pumps up the impact of this year, the third Saturn-Uranus square, (and we are not out of the woods yet as these two meet up again in 2022). Think back to the events of February 17th, these repetitive issues will manifest in similar themes, but with Uranus in the square and millions of way of exhibiting surprise, there is no set way of how those themes will proliferate, setting you on, perhaps a different course than you had originally planned.

Jupiter moves back into Pisces, bringing his very detail-oriented soul seeking perception to purge and blend any remaining emotions that hold us back. We have quite a few planets and asteroids in Capricorn as we remember the events of January 2020, and perhaps, back even further in the arena of our karmic growth. The ease of how we focus and our emotions behind how we get there will be abundantly clear and intuitive, pushing us to do the work necessary for the upcoming year of 2022. A year to hold compassion at the depths of its abyss and walk between worlds so that we may understand the emotions of those around us and ourselves and find a unity within, and outside of the world we have known.
