Diving Deep, A Test of Faith

We are officially in Scorpio Season. The Sun entering Scorpio on October 23rd, 2021, at 12:51 am EST. The Sun’s personality coming through quite steamy with his chart ascendant in Leo. The essence of pride, Lionheart here he is, full of fire and pride to purge the everyday nonsense that makes no common sense. Mars, the Sun’s partner in crime, a wide orbed conjunction, squaring Pluto, both Mars and Pluto the natural rulers of Scorpio. The intensity to fulfill your purpose, to awaken and transform your perception of the hidden, yet so in-your-face agenda of those in the world. Our mind, our will, our wisdom tested on new levels. 

The Moon in Taurus conjunct the North Node in Gemini, fusing our emotions to the lessons and opportunities available, the silver linings that keep us in a stable frame of mind. There is an ease of obsessive-compulsive qualities to carry out as this conjunction trines Pluto, and Pluto sextiles Neptune, but procrastination hangs in the air with the Moon square Jupiter. Remember, we can fall into that energy, or take the energy of the Moon-Jupiter square to tap even deeper into the emotions of our faith. If there was ever a time of ease to tap into the undaunting faith that the Full Moon roused, this is it, here and now, Saturn’s trine to the Moon, a gift of relentless and ruthless pursuit.

We may find our communication a little off this Scorpio season, the need to communicate diplomatically in lieu of the bewilderment we are ruthlessly exposed too. (Mercury quincunx Uranus retrograde, who still squares Jupiter and Saturn).  The epiphanies that will be exposed to our awakenings, the wounds we wish to heal, changing how we pursue our purpose every day have added elements of matriarchal energy, the Sun’s midheaven conjunct Eris and Ceres conjunct Lilith in Gemini.

Venus still reminds us to be in our bodies, to feel the adventure, to seek adventure, commit to the quest of truth for our creations, our passion that fuels us forward. For some that is our creative outlet, for others, our children, and their futures as human beings on this earth. Venus makes a grand sextile with Mercury trine Jupiter, the feelings we feel, possibly overwhelming, and the words we speak, easy enough for seeking justice.

​Mars himself will be entering Scorpio on Halloween at 10:20 am, driving forward our need to act on what the Sun has in mind. At 7° Scorpio, the Sun, the focus of Mars, is in the phase of communion with a Sabian Symbol, “Deep Sea Dives.” Mars’ drive to explore the depths, searching radically for the root cause of what lies in our subconscious in order for us let go, transpose how we communicate to match with how we act.

Two minor trines beautify Mars’ mission. The Sun-Mars conjunction sextile the Moon trine Venus, who happens to still be at the apex of the second grand sextile with Venus sextile Jupiter trine Mercury. Our feelings, our communication, our action, and the ability to be a part of society fuel the act of deep exploration this time around.

The Moon opposite Jupiter sets the pace for opening up, sharing your feelings, being in the moment of your feelings, something not so easy for the defensive and skeptical Scorpio. Jupiter rules Mars’ chart, his actions grandiose with the call for adventure and truth protruding deeper into our psyche. Watch for impulse control though, with Venus in Sagittarius still square Neptune, again, conjunct the IC of his chart and the Sun opposite Uranus, there is a lot of tension in the air, and the ability to discern between projected fantasy and reality, and how we communicate those projections still comes into play. With the Moon square the North Node, there is a fragment of our lessons undefined, yet we act on instinct, no clear purpose, our pride, our courage activating more epiphanies. Boundaries in our bodies, our community and home, with the ability to alter those boundaries, balancing our lives as much as possible, are in the limelight.
