Rendering Fear Powerless-New Moon in Taurus

     ​I equate my lifestyle and the big decisions that pull at my heart and emotions like standing at the edge about the moment you decide to skydive for the first time, the lessons of going tandem, surrendering your life to the person you are attached too the moment you decide to jump from that plane.
     After the initial rush of holy shit, I am falling the sky, the rush of the wind slamming your face against gravity, your senses rushed and heightened, your body bucking back when the parachute opens. This is where beauty overwhelms, the view of hundreds of miles, nothing but a parachute and the tandem your attached too in this part of your world.
     This is the moment of surrender to beauty, to faith, to adventure and life that sets your soul on fire and fuels your inner compass. The moment there is appreciation of the beauty is the moment of alignment and surrender where Pluto has won his dance and seduced your life through his art of destruction, deconstruction, Venus adding her flare of love that fills the parts of you most needed to come alive.  You will be a whole new person when you land on the ground.

       This New Moon is about shining, standing your ground and proud, living and committing to the adventure of life and the truth. Venus ruled Taurus represents raw sensuality. As toddlers we learn through our senses. We taste and touch everything we see, the world one big plate of curiosity and need to feel through our physical sense the world around us. Touch is the prime of our existence, a newborn will die without another human touch. In the medical world, they call it failure to thrive.
     Touch releases oxytocin, the love hormone, along with activating dopamine and serotonin, all feel good, love the world, happy hormones. Happiness builds our confidence, our dreams, our relationships. Taurus, lying the foundation to who we become as adults and how we view our self-worth, all aspects of gift of growth, as long as we perceive it this way.
   
     Tomorrow’s Taurus New Moon at 21° May 11, at 3 pm EST, sets of those butterflies, as I stand on the edge of that plane, teetering on the edge of embracing a freshly birthed alternative ego, GG. When looking at tommorow's chart, I envision SENSUALITY, the word, flashing like a bright neon sign on a dark stormy night. 
     The Sun and the Moon in Taurus dancing with Sedna, her demand of self-acceptance, of escaping from the patriarchal tyranny, Ceres just moving in, adding a practical, nurturing component to the raw power that Lilith and Uranus ignite their rebellious flare on this day of beginnings. The need for foundation, for touch, for the allowance of using all our senses, uninhibited will be pulled from the depths, the manipulative use of the patriarchal power becoming more evident in our lives with the Taurus stellium trine Pluto. Eros in Capricorn leading Pholus adds to the sensual and sexual tension building from the bottom up. Venus in Gemini is trine Pluto as well, creating that sensual, talking touch to everything that is touched.
      Neptune stands conjunct Pallas Athene in Pisces as the apex of that minor triangle sextiling the trine of Pluto and Taurus. The depth of dissolving patterns and boundaries, honoring compassion and empathy, the journey of transformation. Nessus will throw a wrench in there, as he rides along in Pisces as well. The impulse to self-sabotage through addictions…drugs, sex, work, the off-balance thing we do to most escape will be taunting and teasing.
     We are still under the influence of the Saturn square Uranus that is applying and will be conjunct on June 14. The rules and restrictions of this “thing” hanging over us. The Saturn and Jupiter square, Jupiter at 29°, both add tension to our plans to build new and better. It is a matter of relationships adding tension to new beginnings, some old knowledge holding steady and fast, causing divides.
      Venus and Mercury conjunct the North Node in Gemini lighten the air, adding a bit more of socialization, gathering your soul tribe for your true purpose currently and being able to speak through your voice. The semi sextiles from the Taurus stellium to the Mercury conjunction to Mars in Cancers brings emotional motivation to defend your family, the people you care for through transformation, and stresses the importance of retreat for your own soul. Mars sextile Uranus adds sparks of motivation, the awakening of the necessity of comfort through transformation, the dedication and nurturing that must take place to build that which you love.
